All right. We have this journal, and by God, we're going to use it if it kills us. Or me. I'll finish posting "Interesting Times" and move other fanfiction here as well. The Internet will not defeat me!

After forever and a day, we present--Chapter Two of Interesting Times!  Thanks to everyone who waited pateintly  and gigantic hugs to those great people at FF.net who were so awesome when we were MIA.  We love you all. 

Interesting Times, Part One, Chapters One

I should probably repeat the warnings, since not everyone has seen this on Fanfic.  So - Rated fairly high, at least a PG-16, maybe R for the following: language, violence, mentions of suicide, slash relationship between Daisuke and Satoshi.  If that scares you, turn back now. 

Well, this is going to be fun - I have a very nosy cat on my lap, in my way...

All right, I'm going to start attempting to post "Interesting Times," now that I've stuided LJ for a while and still have no good idea on how organize all the chapters and parts.  That means that posting could be a little (ie - massively) confusing until I get it all figured out.  Just bear with me, okay? 


PS - So, I'm typing, and the cat tries to climb onto the keyboard, and I kid you not, types "meeeeeeeew3"   I wonder what the three means. 

We have a proposition for you...

So - I am a rabid House MD fan (Ryn, while a fan, is less extreme than I).  And I'm not kidding when I say rabid - let me tell you, getting a brand new obsession while in the middle of a semester is not good for one's grades.  

Anyway, being a kind and sharing soul who longs for nothing more than to get the world involved in my obsessions, I encouraged my
my little sister (little = 16 years old) to watch it; naturally, she fell in love.  I was very proud of myself and couldn't wait to talk to her about it.  In our conversation, I asked the  ultimate question - what's your favorite pairing? 

She said House/Cameron. 

Inside, I cried, being a House/Wilson shipper to the extreme.  On the outside, I merely frowned and said I didn't agree, and the conversation turned to other things.  A little while later, I asked her opinion on Wilson.  The following I quote: 

    Me:  What do you think of Wilson?  He's one of my favorite  characters. 
    Her:  He seems...nice.  As nice as could be, I guess, for having the wife issues and all. 
    Me:  Just nice? 
    Her:  Well, he...I think...(Lowers voice and leans in closer) I get the feeling he's attracted to House. 

Blatant subtext FTW.

I lent her the second season to watch, and I made her watch "Act Your Age" with me.  By the end of that episode, she no longer liked Cameron.  And I didn't even add my own commentary; she reached that conclusion on her own. 

I love House.
